Spotlight Awarded as One of the Pioneer Youth Career Experience Bases in ZJG Economic Development Zone

On September 9th, the Zhangjiagang Economic and Technological Development Zone celebrated the 41st Teachers' Day alongside the launch ceremony of School-Home-Community Collaborative Education Initiative: “Educational Alliance” Action. During the event, Chang Zheng, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Zhangjiagang Municipal Committee, Secretary of ZETDZ Party Working Committee, Director of ZETDZ Administration Committee, presented honorary plaques to Spotlight and four other entities, designating them as the first batch of “Youth Career Experience Bases”.

In early November 2024, the Ministry of Education, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and 15 other departments jointly issued the ‘Educational Alliance’ for collaborative education of School-Home-Community. This initiative focuses on the healthy and joyful growth of primary and secondary students. It's structured around schools as the central hub, regions as the main body, and resources as the connecting element to effectively facilitate cooperation. The goal is to establish a collaborative educational mechanism led by the government, coordinated by departments, directed by schools, accountable families, and socially engaged communities, ultimately fostering students' comprehensive development and healthy growth.

On November 9, 2024, Spotlight responded proactively to the call, leveraging its robust manufacturing strengths, the company transformed plant resources into public welfare assets and announced the launch of its corporate social responsibility initiative. Under the theme “Light Up a Better Future,” Spotlight launched the “Plant Experience” program, offering activities such as introductory automotive knowledge sessions, immersive plant tours, hands-on experiences with robotic arms, and in-depth product interactions. These activities aim to provide young people with a closer insight into car manufacturing and industrial technology, sparking their interest and enthusiasm for science and fostering their innovative spirit and practical skills. To date, Spotlight has hosted nearly 40 batches of student study tours, with approximately 1,600 youths experiencing the allure of smart technology.

This designation signifies Spotlight’s official recognition by the government and society as a supporter of youth education, highlighting the company's strategic shift from being an "automobile manufacturer" to a "creator of social value," which is profoundly significant. Spotlight intends to use this opportunity to deepen collaboration with the government, schools, and various community resources. The company aims to consistently provide high-quality career experience content, transforming the base into a "beacon of enlightenment" for young people to learn about automobiles, spark their interest in science, and explore the mysteries of technology. This initiative will nurture the next generation of talent for the automotive industry, illuminating young dreams with the light of technology.
